All these services focus on your current location and nearby surroundings. My Position looks for your location and shows it on the map. Find places lets you search easily for cities, addresses and places with the new one-box search. Favourites allows you to save your personal map objects such as places and routes. Sign in with your Ovi account and synchronise your favourite places with Ovi to make your maps.ovi.com experience more personal. You can also synchronise your map objects from maps.ovi.com back to Maps on your device.
Our popular car navigation service, Drive, with voice and visual instructions, lane assistance and speed limit warners, comes now with text-to-speech feature for voice guidance including street names during navigation.
My personal favourite service, Walk navigation, takes you through dedicated pedestrian zones, shortcuts, stairways, plazas or pathways through parks and buildings. Now we are introducing voice guidance for Walk with voice instructions including street names during navigation.

MoBots are small applications that you can build in your phone using a very simple graphical interface. They act automatically on specific events like small robots. This is why we call them Mobile Robots or MoBots.
They are so simple, that only contain three types of bulding blocks:
Events Yellow block that represent events capable to awake up your MoBot, like clock, incoming calls and sms, or enter a cell location or a bluetooth range.. Conditions Green blocks that represents conditions that should occur when the MoBots receive previous event, to allow the execution of the task, like the active profile, time, or location... Commands Blue blocks that represents the actions will take place automatically when the above is true, like ring, vibrate, place a misscall, send an sms or mms.. etc.
So you can create several MoBots that responde by you to different daily situations and all are independently active or sleeping. To get more powerful, some MoBots actions may be to activate or disable others MoBots, so complex behaviours like games, can be created.
Imagine you what to make a misscall to your girlfriend, everytime you´re arriving to her house during the evening, to advise her so she comes out. This is a very simple task for a MoBots, that awake when it sens the cell-id of your girlfriend house, see if is evening, and then place a miss call. Only three blocks of MoBots :-)
If your mobile has accelerator, you can leave a handset in your car, and if you create a MoBots that if notes movement, then place a call to your other handset, you´ve create an alarm that your car is being stolen with only two blocks of MoBots.

Lifecast with Ovi to share memorable moments with your friends on Facebook. With Ovi, you can now keep your Facebook friends up to date where you are and what you are doing in a new way.
Right from the home screen of your Nokia N97, you can lifecast the street address you are at, and your friends can see your location on a map. You can also share a meaningful location from the nearby places of interest or your favourite place that you have saved on Ovi MapsBeta. To show your friends what a great spot you are exploring, you can take a photo, and attach it to your Facebook post.

How to get started with Ovi lifecasting into Facebook: 1. Install the latest Ovi MapsBeta on your Nokia N97. 2. Open Ovi MapsBeta. 3. Check that you have the map data for the country you are going to lifecast from. You can download the map data with Map Loader or over-the-air (data charges may apply). 4. Download the Ovi lifecasting widget, and add it to the home screen of your Nokia N97. Download (SIS, 1.68Mb). Sign in with your Nokia account and connect with your Facebook Profile. 5. During the setup of the Ovi lifecasting widget, please ensure you select "automatically log in" - otherwise you will not be able to publish (Known issue) 6. Start lifecasting. Enter your Facebook status, attach a photo to your post, or select how you want to share your whereabouts. Your Nokia N97 detects your current location through GPS/A-GPS or network positioning. 7. Open your Facebook profile to check what you are lifecasting. To display the latest location you have lifecasted from, select the corresponding link in the status update view. You can also check if your friends have commented on your posts, and keep the conversation going.
After you have lifecasted for the first time, your Nokia N97 detects your location every 10 minutes. To refresh your location when desired, in the Ovi lifecasting widget, select the respective icon.
To stop the automatic location detection, you have to remove the Ovi lifecasting widget. If you remove the widget, you are no longer able to lifecast. Known issues During the setup of the Ovi lifecasting widget, please ensure you select "automatically log in" - otherwise you will not be able to publish. Facebook login expires after few hours. If you are experiencing problems with publishing, you will need to turn off your phone and turn it back on again. When you try using Ovi lifecasting again, you will need to resign in to Facebook. Currently you may experience some problem uploading photos. This issue will be resolved in the next few days.
Compatibility and system requirements Ovi lifecasting currently only supports Nokia N97 devices. You also need Ovi MapsBeta and the Ovi lifecasting widget installed in your device.
Lifecasting is only possible if your real life location is automatically detected. Therefore, your location is automatically updated on your Ovi lifecasting widget, which involves transmission of data. Contact your network service provider for information about data transmission charges.
